What does a water slide rental cost?
Water slides from We Rent Fun start at $249. Price follows height and lane count: toddler slides sit at the bottom, 16- to 23-foot slides sit in the middle, and 27- to 36-foot double-lane slides sit at the top. Every water slide rental includes delivery, setup and takedown across Miami-Dade and Broward.
For an organizational event, add two lines to the budget: trained attendants at $300 per 4-hour shift, and a generator at $119–$249 if the venue does not have usable power.

Which size fits your event?
Daycares, preschools and toddler birthdays
Our toddler slides are listed for ages 1 to 5 and fit in about 19 by 10 feet or 23 by 12 feet. They suit a daycare courtyard, a small backyard or a corner of a larger event set aside for little kids.
Backyards and small community events
A 16- to 22-foot slide needs roughly 30 to 40 feet of length. That fits many backyards in Kendall, Pembroke Pines or Miramar, but measure first. Trees, balconies and roof overhangs limit tall slides more often than ground space does.
Field days, HOA pool days and church picnics
For groups, lanes matter more than height. Double-lane and triple-lane slides keep lines moving. For a school field day, a water slide usually works best as one station in a rotation, next to an obstacle course and a dry attraction. Our field day cost guide breaks down that budget.
City festivals and large open fields
The 27- to 36-foot slides need 58 to 90 feet of length and a wide, level area. They belong on a park field or a large campus lawn, with staff at the ladder and at the landing.
What does a water slide need on site?
Every water slide needs three things: water, continuous power and a safe surface.
- Water. Each slide needs a hose run from a water source. If you plan more than one slide, confirm the water pressure can supply all of them. We rent a 50-foot water hose if you need more reach.
- Power. A blower runs the entire time the slide is up. We need an outlet within 75 feet or a generator, and we bring our own heavy-duty cords. Larger slides need two 120V outlets.
- Surface. Slides go on level ground. Grass is preferred and takes stakes. Concrete and pavement need ballast anchoring. We will not set up on gravel.
- Drainage. Water leaves the splash pool all afternoon. On HOA pool decks, drainage and pool rules often make the adjacent lawn the better spot. Pick a spot where runoff drains away from pavilions, walkways, electrical cords and building entrances.
Park pavilions rarely have usable power. Most county and city park pavilions in Miami-Dade and Broward have no usable power for inflatables, and a water slide at a park also needs a reachable water source. Staffing and safety
For any school, city, church or HOA event, budget a trained attendant on anything with water and any slide over 15 feet. Attendants are $300 per 4-hour shift. Our rides are FDACS-inspected, our units are anchored to ASTM standards, our attendants are safety-trained, and our water slides are sanitized between every use.
Before any rental, ask the vendor about inspections, insurance and their wind and weather policy. For summer events, set a weather call time and name the person who makes the call.
When to book
Water slide demand follows the South Florida calendar. Field days fill April and May, and Miami-Dade and Broward end their school years about a week apart. Summer camps and July 4 city events run June and July, and HOA pool season runs May through August.

Does a water slide need a hose and an outlet?
Yes, both. Each slide needs a hose run from a water source, and its blower needs continuous power from an outlet within 75 feet or a generator. We rent heavy-duty hoses and generators if the site does not have them.
Can a water slide go on concrete or a pool deck?
Slides can be set up on concrete and pavement with ballast anchoring, but we prefer level grass and we will not set up on gravel. On pool decks, drainage, deck surface and your association's pool rules all factor in, so the lawn next to the pool is often the better spot.
