Employee Appreciation Day Planning Guide for Miami Companies
For HR, office and people-ops leads in Miami-Dade and Broward: what an employee appreciation day or company family day costs, attractions adults actually use, office-lot setup, staffing, and the vendor paperwork accounts payable will ask for.
What does an employee appreciation day cost?
A corporate employee appreciation day typically runs $2,500 to $8,000, based on the event ranges on our Schools, Cities & Organizations page. Where you land depends on headcount, hours on site, the venue, staffing and power.
Two lines are easy to miss: trained attendants at $300 per four-hour shift, and generators at $119 to $249 for lots and parks with no usable outlets. Our quotes are itemized with delivery, setup, staffing and generators priced in, and multi-item events go on one invoice, which is usually what finance wants to see.

Attractions adults will actually use
The attractions that work best for adults offer short turns, small-group competition, or something to take home. Prices come from our product pages and include delivery, setup and takedown.
| Attraction | Catalog price | Why it works at work |
|---|---|---|
| AI Robot Caricature Artist | $895 | Roughly 50–70 drawings in a 2-hour booking; your logo can go on every one |
| Mobile Escape Room | $749 | Small-team puzzle; setup and operation included |
| Laser Tag Experience | $890 | Non-contact team play, day or night |
| Double Axe Throw | $349 | Two players at a time, quick turns |
| Triple Play Sports Challenge | $349 | All ages; works for a family day too |
| Carnival Game 4 Pack | $719 | Knock down, ring toss, tic tac toe and dartboard |
| Giant Cornhole / Jumbo Jenga | $79 each | Low-key games for people who would rather talk |
| LED Air Hockey Table | $649 | 14 x 10 ft setup area, one outlet |
| Popcorn / cotton candy | $179 each | Supplies for 50; 2 x 2 ft and one outlet |
For a bigger draw, we also bring staffed attractions that are quoted to your headcount and venue: the mechanical bull (riders at least 48 inches tall, 40 to 250 lbs), the 30 ft Geo Wall climbing wall, the Game Trailer and Dream Park VR. See more on our interactive games, sports games, carnival games and corporate events pages.
If you would rather not assemble the list yourself, the Ultimate Team Celebration Package bundles a climbing wall, a 100 ft obstacle course, a bungee trampoline, a trackless train, mini golf, an axe throw, two inflatables and an 80-guest tent package. It covers up to 4 hours of event time, and all generators come with it, fueled.
Office-hours appreciation or weekend family day
Corporate events usually take one of two formats, and they plan differently.
- On-site during work hours. Employees drop in between meetings or shifts, so pick short turns and small footprints: the robot artist, the escape room, air hockey, cornhole and a concession. If you run multiple shifts, set the event window so each shift overlaps it, and quote the hours to match.
- Weekend company picnic or family day. Spouses and kids come too, usually at a park. Add something for children, such as an obstacle course or bounce house, plus shade and seating. Our water slide guide covers sizes if it is a summer event, and our community day guide covers mixed-age layouts.
Either way, count employees and guests separately when you request the quote. Headcount drives how many attractions and attendants you need.

Office lots, power and weather
- Surface. Grass takes stakes. Asphalt parking lots and pavilion slabs get ballast anchoring. Tell us the surface up front.
- Power. Most items list their outlet needs on the product page. The escape room, axe throw and popcorn machine each need one 120v outlet. Most county and city park pavilions have no usable power for inflatables, and we delivered more than 900 generators last year. Our generator power guide explains how to size the load.
- Shade and seating. The 50-guest tent package ($725, 30 x 30 ft) includes a 20 x 20 high peak tent, seven 6 ft tables and 50 chairs. The 100-guest package ($1,400, 30 x 50 ft) doubles that. More options are on our tents, tables and chairs page.
Plan a weather fallback for any outdoor date. Inflatables stop operating when wind reaches 15 mph, or at the unit’s own lower limit. Ask which attractions on your list can move indoors or under cover; the AI robot artist, for example, is built for indoor or covered spots.

Staffing so your team gets to enjoy it
Your employees should be guests, not volunteers running equipment. Trained attendants are $300 per four-hour shift, and we recommend them for every corporate event. Mechanical rides and driving attractions always come staffed, and several attractions include our operator in the booking. Our rides are FDACS-inspected, units are anchored to ASTM standards, and our attraction operators are SIOTO-trained.
Vendor paperwork for accounts payable
We send a certificate of insurance naming your company as additional insured within 24 hours at no charge, a W-9 up front, and inspection documentation on request. We accept purchase orders, corporate checks and cards. If your company uses a vendor portal or onboarding packet, send it and we will complete it.
Send the exact legal entity name and any required certificate holder language with the quote request. Our vendor paperwork guide walks through each document.
When to book
Four to eight weeks is typical for organizational events. Year-end events move sooner: book December holiday parties in October. For holiday themes, see our holiday event rentals and snow machines.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a corporate employee appreciation day cost?
A corporate employee appreciation day typically runs $2,500 to $8,000 with us. The number moves with headcount, hours on site, the venue, staffing and whether you need generators. Quotes are itemized with delivery, setup, staffing and generators priced in, on one invoice.
Can you set up in our office parking lot?
Yes. Asphalt and concrete get ballast anchoring instead of stakes, so tell us the surface when you request the quote. If there is no usable outlet near the setup area, we supply generators from $119.
What paperwork can you send our accounts payable and risk teams?
A certificate of insurance naming your company as additional insured within 24 hours at no charge, a W-9 up front, and inspection documentation on request. We accept purchase orders, corporate checks and cards, and we can complete your vendor portal or onboarding packet.
Do we need to provide our own staff to run the attractions?
No. Trained attendants are $300 per four-hour shift, and mechanical rides and driving attractions always come staffed. Several attractions, such as the mobile escape room and the AI robot caricature artist, include operation by our staff.
How far ahead should we book a company event or holiday party?
Four to eight weeks is typical for organizational events. For December holiday events, book in October.
Get a quote for your employee event
Send the company’s legal name for the COI, the event date and hours, the venue and surface, the number of employees and guests, and whether there is usable power. We will recommend a mix that fits and return an itemized quote with the COI and W-9 attached. More detail is on our corporate event rentals page.
